The map vendor (not the same as the GPS vendor, it seems) needs an
incentive to prioritize entering corrected segments for your
subdivision.  Convince your city council to offer a $1000 reward for
the first one showing the proper turns.

Of course, there's a fine old tradition of pen-and-ink maps having a
"we'll fix it just as soon as we finish doing the new part of the map"
attitude, too.  And they didn't even work for MS.
