And when Gretzky decided to put up Bertuzzi as someone to represent
Canadians at the Olympics, I cheered when that team had a pathetic
showing in the world games.

Player four. I have written to three companies that have used Gretzky
as a spokesman that I don't respect people who choose thugs for our
national team and I don't respect companies that choose such people to
represent their company.

I don't know how much such a letter counts to an advertiser, but I
suspect I'm not the only one who was pissed off that Bertuzzi was
chosen to represent us on the world stage. A premeditated attack that
results in permanent harm is not a "Canadian value".
