There's not much that can be done: untill Iraq is settled on way or the
other, we're overextended. That's _why_ Iran is making thier nuclear bid
right now and rattling thier sabers. So the best thing to do wrt Iran is
to settle the Iraq situation: we win and we can deal with Iran from a
position of power (isolate, sanction, etc), we lose and we can deal from a
postion of weakness (protracted cold war style), but untill then, all we
can do is mark time (small scale diplomatic efforts).
