The only new year's resolution I've (almost completely) kept is to stop 
wasting time inserting an unnecessary "and" when I'm writing checks.

In thge past, when writing a check for say $187.43, I'd write "One 
hundred and eighty seven & 43/100" Now I just write "One hundred eighty 
seven & 43/100".

I get just delirious thinking about all the time and ink I'm saving. <G>
