I think hormones, do , indeed, have something to do with it. The woman
who cuts my hair says that easily noticed hormonal changes, such as
pregnancy and menopause can change hair quite a bit. Something must be
happening, though neither of those causes are it.

I'm keeping the hair cut quite short so the tendrils don't get in the
way.
