For a short time, but I can't pull up the specifics
right now. ALSO, it only applies to the primary
"over the air" stations in the community. (See below).

Eyup. They, along with the other cable folk, are switching
as much of their coax signals to digital as quickly as they
can. Reason: they can feed more "channels" through the 
same pipe.

As they make the transition, more and more of the channels
you now receive on your analog "cable ready" tv and TIVO, etc.,
will cross over to digital and you won't be able to receive
them without a converter. Meaning it'll be back to the 
Bad Old Days when you needed a cable box which fed/feeds
out to your tv, etc.
