Not quite as lucrative and much shorter term, but our hospital
periodically runs studies like:
	RSV and influenza virus - Healthy men and women between the ages of
	18-45 are needed for a virus screening research study.  Participants
	will be required to stay at a local hotel 24 hours per day for nine
	days between May 9-22.  Lodging and meals provided.  Payment up to
	$1,200.  For more information call 555-xxxx.
(you're too old for that one but they probably study geriatric cases too.)

I've never done it but I believe the setup is that the vaccinate you
(or not), throw germs at you (or not) and see what develops.  I'm not
sure if this counts as a really easy job or a really sucky vacation.
