This is who I think would be the smart picks for the candidates, not whom I
sup****t necessarily.
Obama: Richardson. Part of the reason Obama has the nomination is
Hillary's
baggage. Picking her would cut into one his of his main selling points
(i.e. not being Hillary). But he needs some of her base. Richardson gets
a
big part that easily could go Republican.
McCain: Santorum. Okay two main problems for McCain. The thought that
this
geezer is croakers and the nutcase right, worried that McCain is not so
crazy as they are. Santorum: young enough not to croak and nuts as any
rightwing wet dream (but below the radar of most swing voters).
