You've no idea.  June Cleaver always wore dresses and high-heeled pumps 
and pearls, and she never had a hair out of place, even while vacuuming 
and cleaning the kitchen.  She was a little bit dim, as befits the 
perfect woman of the 1950s - I mean, god forbid Ward would have to be 
threatened by actual thought from his wife.

But her house was spotless and her children were gee-golly-whiz nice 
boys, and people ate it up back then.
