Someone asked in e-mail about this. Five bathroom sinks (three and a
half baths), two kitchen sinks, one wet bar sink, one laundry room
sink, and a utility sink in the garage. This last was the only one
that was optional. My house in Lancaster has three sinks, one kitchen
and two bathroom. Quite a difference between the two.

It has crossed my mind to wonder if there are two separate sinks, with
room for a dishwasher next to the one that doesn't already have one,
as a convenience for Jewish people who keep kosher seriously. None of
the other models in the tract have two kitchen sinks (one of ours is a
vegetable sink, just a single, not a double like the other one). It's
a large house, but not the largest they had, so that's not it.
When my cousin was living in Sweden, she didn't have a garbage
disposal and she really missed it. She came to visit for a week and I
had a lot of fun harassing her about it. Offering to let her pick
which disposal we'd use, suggesting we split the vegetable scraps so
we could use both disposals, and so on.
She has since relocated to New Jersey, where garbage disposals are
illegal. That may not be entirely true, now that I think about it. It
may only be her town or county that has outlawed them. However, her
husband is very handy, so I have offered to send them a bootleg
disposal for him to install.
