It takes place during the last battle, much of the running around the
building interiors, up and down stairs, and out in the streets. I
don't know if it's 12 minutes, but it's certainly very long. There
are another couple of pretty long shots in that movie, the birth scene
and the fight on the road are notable. I thought they were used very
effectively to create tension/dread/confusion in the movie, far more
so than very quick, chaotic cuts.
