Altho a certain amount of flip=flopping is inevitable, that doesn't mean
it 
isn't still fun to point it out.  And I think in the past there has been
too 
much of a candidate telling one group he or she is going to work to 
strengthen Social Security and then telling the next group he or she is 
going to work to get rid of entitlements such as Social Security.

It's only too understandalbe that a candidate will say whatever necessary
to 
get elected, but I want them to be accountable for what they say.  As 
voters, we decide on who to vote for based on what the candidates say.

My father was pissed off at Richard Olgivie for years after he was no
longer 
governor of Illinois.  Olgivie swore he wouldn't work to put in a state 
income tax and within a couple of months of being elected did just the 
opposite.
