I think that Bill Clinton would not have been able to make such a
decision because of his risk aversion. I haven't really thought

Keep in mind that the DUI story broke right before the election.
There were plenty of attacks on Bush throughout the campaign, you
can expect that always.

So those are "fake" stories, how? The fact is, Gore makes gaffs,
it's what he does. He's not the only one to do that, he was running
against Verbal Gaff Central, George Dubya Bush.
