Are you implying that 9/11 also spurred the demand for or makes it
necessary to require photo ID at the polls?

Voting turnout is already low in the US. We should be enabling and
encouraging people to go to the polls, not put barriers in their way.

Some of these people have been registered all of their adult lives and
now told they cannot vote. Voting is pretty useful. How does having a
photo ID enhance one's life or make one a good citizen?
