1327 ft doesn't indicate a unit of measure?
Using the Options you can set it to meters and kilometers, if you
prefer.

What do these "phantom numbers" appear to indicate?
With "streets" selected, I see full disclosure on the names of streets
and highways.
How about providing a specific origin and destination so we can see
what you are referring to?
