1979 - 81, age 22, Randy. Close friends, but didn't feel much need to
share intimate details.
1981 - 1988 Bill. All the "deep" conversations took place after 18
beer or so. Don't remember much of them.
1983 - 2000 or so. Chris. Male.
1984. Lorri & Barbara. Lorri helped pull me out of the infamous 1984
hole after accidentally pu****ng me into it. Barb was a spare crutch
through a terrible time, though she caused a separate crisis in 88 for
undetermined reasons. Lorri stopped talking to me in 03 in sup****t of
a misunderstanding her hubby had about advice I was giving her
daughter.
1988 - 1993 Manoa.
2006 Charlene.
Wendy (95 - 06) and Moria (89-94 and 06-current) would be likely to
"trigger" on secrets and head off to an inappropriate horizon. I
always had to keep censors in place around them.
The men mentioned, I COULD have confided anything in them, but
typically didn't. Charlene, Manoa and Barbara, I could discuss
anything with. Until the day that Barbara, as my closest friend and
confidant, disappeared from my life with no explanation other than "I
don't think we should see any more of each other."
