I know some of you are clever at solving puzzles, and you're a
lot better than I am. I've come across one that I can ALMOST get, but
not quite. Give it a try, but you onluy have a few hours before the
answer is revealed.
Every year, NBC's morning "Today" show sends host Matt Lauer
on a whirlwind round-the-world trip, a different city every day. It's
a big secret where he'll show up next, but at the end of every day, he
gives a clue as to where he'll be tomorrow. Most are over my head, but
today's clue is one I can almost solve. Maybe somebody here can figger
it out. Be aware, however, that the city will be revealed 7am
Wednesday when the show starts. S9, sharpen your pencils!

Here is the clue:
"This country is an anagram of a synonym of a homophone of an even
prime number."
My logical process:
- First part is easy. There is only one even prime number, the number
"Two".
So the clue is now
"This country is an anagram of a synonym of a homophone of
'two'."
- The only homophones I know of "two" are...
"This country is an anagram of a synonym of 'to' or 'too'."
- The only synonyms I can think of are
"This country is an anagram of 'excessively, overly, to a
fault' or perhaps 'besides, also, likewise, as well'".
I'm kinda stuck at this point. Any ideas?
