In my mind, it doesn't really matter who the check is written out to.
It's all there to sup****t and perpetuate the current regime.
No evidence is presented that

I was just saying that if he had been more sup****tive of the current
regime, maybe he'd gotten off lighter. I guess it's not too late to
buy a pardon.
In the back of my mind, I also wonder if they would have chosen him to
be an example if he were white.
