Wesley Snipes gets three years in prison for tax evasion:

"Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday for failing to
file tax returns, the maximum penalty _ and a victory for prosecutors
who sought to make an example of the action star."
Maybe he would have had more luck if he had donated more to the Bush
administration. I seem to recall stories of white tax evaders not
getting the slammer, are there other reasons why Snipes got hit so
hard? Being set as "an example" doesn't seem to quite cut it.
