Fish make noise

I'm feeling very subtly alarmed by the discovery that there 
are many kinds of fish which make noises, and that almost none of 
those sounds have been catalogued, and for quite a few of them nobody 
(but the fish, I guess) knows just how they make the sounds:

	There are enough things I feel helpless in the face of that I 
don't need the thought of fish making sarcastic comments about me.  So 
I'm bringing this to the group's attention in the hopes that someone 
else can worry about it more efficiently.  

	Among the choice things: 

		Another unusual finding was made by Gerald D'Spain at 
	the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego.  D'Spain 
	re****ted that he had recorded fish "chorusing" along the Pacific 
	coast, from Ensenada all the way up to Point Loma.  He likens 
	their sound to "the wave" at a s****ts stadium, with the chorus 
	moving up the coast like spectators leaping from their seats and 
	hooraying in a coordinated roll.  He also said he believed that 
	the chorus was transferred from fish to fish at nearly the speed 
	that sound travels in water -- about four and a half times as 
	fast as sound travels in air.
