Narrative form

by Brettster <brett.bayne@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 16, 2008 at 01:17 PM

I am trying to find the value of X.

First person = I was glad I went to the party.

Second person = You are walking down a dark alley when suddenly a man
jumps out in front of you!

Third person = He didn't know what he was doing.

X = One wonders what one would do if confronted by one's inner demons.

Is X still considered first person? Is there a name for the literary
device where one uses "one" in this style?
