Who collects your used motor oil? You told me you don't do what
folks used to do, dump it in the nearby trout stream. So something
happened where you decided to take it to some place and leave it
there, some place with a collection capacity.

I suspect they'd do it for free since it would give them a chance
to explain away how they are destroying rain forest to grow cows
and using plastic and foam containers that are choking up the land
fill. More immediately, having a drop off station at your
restaurant gets potential customers to come to your restaurant.

Really? So Saudi crude oil is only worth $2 bbl because that's what
it costs them to get it out of the ground? If conversion of the oil
is $.50 a gallon and the cost is free, you can sell at cost for
$.50 a gallon. But you'd foolish to do that if you could sell it
for $4.50 a gallon. So you'd sell for $4.50 a gallon and make good
profit, wouldn't you? I know I would.

Now we are hiring children for child labour? I was talking about
your kids going out once a month up the street and picking up the
jugs of used oil in their wagon. I'm not talking about a huge
industrial process.

All I'm trying to do is to get places that recycle their oil today
to accept customer drop offs of used oil. I don't yet know if all
the oil that is used commerically is spoken for though, so getting
that in the can first makes more sense. This is down the road.
