You don't say what type of connector it actually is. If it is HDMI, the 
answer is "yes". HDMI cables don't have a maximum length spec. You can 
get 15' HDMI cables that meet the specification very commonly, no 
problem. But shop around. Some places charge exorbitant prices for HDMI 
cables. Get a HDMI 1.3/Category 2 compliant cable if you can find a good 
price.

One detail to look at when picking out a hi-def TV is the HDMI interface. 
It has gone through various revisions, and is now up to 1.3b, IIRC. If 
you can, get a set with at least HDMI 1.3.
