That she'd prolly tried avoiding it with a 10-foot pole but wasn't
successful?
I note that the hotel describes itself as being in the "heart of
Kensington"
but is in very close proximity to Earls Court. And Earls Court is
notorious
as 'Kangaroo Valley', home to Oz and Kiwi students, transients,
backpackers
and expats.
