If the dog throws up, we wait about a minute. . Usually, she'll
dispose of most of it herself.

I have already invested heavily in Bissell, using the Spot Lifter
rather extensively yesterday. 

Someone left the door open to the downstairs and when that happens,
the dog likes to sneak down there and take a crap right inside in
front of the entryway door, so you can't see it when you come in
carrying groceries. In fact, you usually don't see it until you've
come in, climbed up the stairs and made it part way across the kitchen
tiles, at which point you slide, one legged,  half way across the
floor on a turd that's been stuck to all the little grooves on the
heel of your right boot and decorated  every single carpeted step from
downstairs to upstairs (brown carpet).

Oh, after that, I also got to use the Black and Decker Scrubber on my
boot heel grooves. It takes talent to do that and not spatter.
