veggie tales

by Snidely <Snidely.too@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 23, 2008 at 10:01 PM

So far I've avoided animated shows about pirate zucchinis and the
tomato that saves the world ("that's one snappy tomato!"). So I'll
avoid that here, too.

Given that I still have to up my veggie quotient, but for the time
being need to avoid the ones that enhance the production of gas
(methane? CO2?), what are my choices?

Broccoli, one of my core choices, is out for now, as are beans. Are
all legumes suspect? What about zucchini (steamed or raw, not the
pirate one)? I'm doomed if yellow squash is my only choice. For
yellow, can I go with carrots and corn?

Cabbage I may have to wait on (until its a slaw news day), but is
lettuce okay? What about romain and leaf varieties? And are salad
greens technically veggies?
