Yeah, they started that a while ago. I think it was basically a PR thing,
they thought nutty people would be happier with money going to the
Treasury
than to the hated IRS. Maybe they paid Boron or Hamster to think that one
up.

I'd just send it in. Since that change, I've made them out to the
"Internal Revenue Service" and to "The Government of the United States or
America" and nothing ever came of it. But that was checks, not money
orders, if that makes a difference. Heck, I know people who have
cashed/deposited checks made out to "grandma", I don't think they check
all
that closely unless a dispute happens.
