BAM

We drove into the city today to see Patrick Stewart in the Scottish
play at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Quite an impressive production.
I really enjoyed it. 

Although I probably could have stepped into several scenes on short
notice, having committed so much of it to memory over the years, I
realized I had never seen a professional stage production of the play
before. 

Nevertheless, I was so thick that it took until almost an hour and a
half into it, at which time the cast  began to sing in Russian, that I
realized it had been staged with a Stalinist theme. Serves me right
for not reading reviews ahead of time. It does explain a few (but not
all)  of the costume choices, though.

When we retrieved the car from the lot, I noticed a sign on the
ca****er's kiosk.
