Being the head of the clan was much more impressive when everybody
worried about whether you and your clansmen would ride up with swords
drawn and torches lit.
I'm the youngest son of a youngest son of a middle son on my father's
side, so I'm nowhere near the patriarch, and even within my own sept
my eldest brother is probably going to give me a run for the last day
on the calendar. He has quite a head start, but my exercise program
has been affected by AFCA., and I'm not quite serious enough about
veggies.
