****sche AG (actually, it's new holding company) have been increasing
their share of owner****p of VW.
They've been partners forever, and shared gene-stock, but I thought
that VW had owned ****sche prior to buying Audi, and had split the
operations to satisify regulators[1]. The Footia article seems to
think that was never the case.
Maybe I've been misled by the history of VWoA, but that article
doesn't mention ****sche at all.[2]
[1],[2] I do know that North American dealer****ps were affected. For
instance, the Beaverton OR dealer (Sunset Motors) opened a seperate
location at another site for ****sche after the Audi buyup.
