In Case You Thought I had No Heart....

I do - it's just not a very GOOD one.

I know this after spending the last week in the hospital, where I had an 
echocardiogram, an ultrasound, 2 CAT scans, an MRI, and next week I have
to 
have a stress test. Good God.

I now have 3 more prescription meds I am on, and I officially have "really

****ed up blood pressure".

But I am going to Burlington and a *real* doctor to get a more descriptive

and solid diagnosis. The hospital here in Malone is adequate, but the
doctor 
I was seeing was no Gregory House. She didn't even send her team to my
house 
to see if my cleaning products were the cause of my ****ed up blood 
pressure.

I went there just to go to the clinic on Tuesday to see what the cause was

of this terrible pain in my heart and my shortness of breath. First,
though 
I went to lunch with the Chamber of Commerce lady (who is really, really 
cute and very nice, BTW), and after she dropped me off at home after lunch

and the pain hadn't subsided in the least, I decided to go to the clinic.

They promptly kicked me out and said they couldn't see me, so I went to
the 
ER. When they took my vital signs and found my blood pressure to be
193/119, 
they admitted me.

But, I'm back home now, and Paul has gone to get my prescriptions, so I 
should be OK. I told the doctor when she was writing my discharge papers
to 
put in the instructions that I shouldn't be running up and down the
stairs, 
and she did. So this should actually be a really good couple of days. I
see 
lots of delivery foods over the weekend.
