Question regarding an acetate of Love's Made A Fool Of You

by "MetsonIJ" <ian@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 16, 2005 at 08:41 AM

Hello Buddy Holly fans

I'm wondering what to do with an acetate of Love's Made A Fool Of You
which my father bought at a jumble sale (British for a yard sale) in
the 70s.

It is unmarked apart from 'Emidisc Made in Great Britain' but seems to
be Buddy Holly.

At the same time bought another acetate of the same track but this time
the artist is the Dixies and on the flip side they're referred to as
Brendan O'Brien and the Dixies. This is dated Nov-17 1964 which ties
up with a UK release by the artist.

Anyhow, I digress. The only connection I can think of is that Cliff
Richard amongst other 'stars' used to live nearby so perhaps he was
clearing out his garage. Or maybe a record producer.

Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do with the Holly acetate
which is presumably collectable?

cheers
Ian
