It's not a healthy outlook because it doesn't take the woman's opinion
of the matter into consideration. Of course, Norman is creating all
these characters so in his twisted little mind, all the women are happy
once they fully submit themselves to a man. Problem is when you take
that kind of mindset and try to bring it into the "real" world where
real people have real feelings of their own. (And Norman did write a
"non-fiction" book on the sexes which pretty much summed up the same
theories he'd been espousing in the Gor series.)
Also, in the Gor series, women ARE being treated differently than men.
Men are expected to fight for their freedom and break their chains.
Women are expected to submit meekly and learn true happiness under the
heel of a man.
