There was a gecko in the house we rented when we spent a week on Maui
(right
around 9/11, lucky us!).  I saw it drinking the condensation from soda can
tops
a couple times.

A couple weeks ago, we had some minor excitement right here when a baby
scorpion
accidentally ended up in the kitchen hallway somehow.  My mother and I
thought
it was dead, right up until one of us poked it with a Kleenex.  I ended up
trapping it in the dustpan and tossing it back outside.
