Oblate spheroids [TM] ... 

Prepare your sprouts (cut an X into the stem end to help them cook
evenly, discard loose leaves); place in a single layer in an
oven-proof dish. Drizzle with vegetable oil and stir to coat. Bake at
375F for 30 mins. 

Also works with root vegetables ... potatoes, carrots, parsnips,
rutabaga ... these take 45 minutes.

I also have a splendid recipe for sprouts in horseradish sauce, but I
can't be arsed to type it atm.
