There's no healthcare "system" in Britain.  They make it up as they go
along.
Blair said that everyone should be able to get a doctor's appointment
within 2 days, and I've hear that it's possible in some places.
In my local surgery, it's about 2 weeks, by which time, you've either
recovered, so you don't turn up, or you're dead, so you don't turn up.

However, our local hospital is brilliant.  They seem to have endless
amounts of money as they're always building new departments.
It's run really well, and the service is excellent.
Other British hospitals don't fare so well.
