I remember my childhood in Glasgow in similar weather, getting a
horrible backache when walking out of doors. I'm not sure why. I don't
get a backache from the colder but drier cold here.

Hey, the sun heats the earth and it's up high, so why shouldn't a
sunlamp-y thing heat a bathroom?

I can be as cosy as I want indoors, even with wind and ridiculous
negative numbers outside. It's that nasty gap between one set of
indoorses and another set that's the problem.

My toes are the one part of me that get cold and stay that way for
long periods of time. And when my toes are cold, the slightest
movement gives me toe cramps. Ouchie!
