I put an ad on some of the local for sale groups saying I was looking
for an S1 IS or S2 IS. I got one answer from a guy trying to flog his 
S1 IS. Two years old, 3.2 megaboopsies -- and he wanted $400. I could
get a brand(tm) new S3 IS for not much more than that. I offered him
$150 (which I thought was pretty generous) and he replied that
obviously we were thinking of different price ranges. Then he went on
to tell me that Dell is having a sale of the S3 IS for $399. I can't
follow his logic at all. Does he think that getting a couple of extra
CF cards brings the value of a 2-year-old camera up to the level of a
brand new camera, or is he unaware that $399 is actually LESS than
$400?
