As we already know from your other post it's generally not that long a
wait.

No kidding? Shows you what I know.

Yup, but Ebay has some good deals on body and lens combos for not too
much and I'm telling you, using a DSLR is a whole different ball-game.
Holding the button down on my D70 and I'm taking pictures like
"clicka-clicka-clicka", and mine's slow compared to some of the new
cameras on the market right now.

Maybe?

I remember that back in 1975 the phone company produced a phone book
with a picture of the then new Pine Valley bridge on the cover with a
caption that stated that it was twice as high as the Coronado Bay
Bridge. Within a week no less then ten people ended it all by jumping
off that bridge. See what a little publicity will get ya?
Anyway, I'm guessing that the motorcyclist wasn't in very good shape
after falling 200 feet to the valley floor?

I've often contemplated the inevitability of hurting myself with tools.
There's some little gremlin in my brain that tells me that when I'm
turning a wrench on my car or summat that even though I know this tool
is about to slip and I'm going to tear my knuckles open, I just can't
back off until I see my own blood.

When I was a kid I always wanted to break an arm or a leg so I'm have a
neat cast for other kids to sign. The only war injury I received as a
child though was when being in close proximity to my mother's kitchen
stove she removed the lid to her pressure cooker without first
relieving the pressure. That incident of course resulted in a quick
trip to the hospital for both of us. Not having suffered a broken bone
though, I'm still thinking that kind of injury is more fun than a major
burn..
Michael, hurting himself is such fun boy.
