Actually, my all-time favorite cake is chocolate- not the
chocolate-wipe out cake with chunks of chocolate and layers of candy,
but the old-fashhined Betty Crocker (don't know you have that) from
the old recipe in the 1952 cookbook with fudge frosting. Nothing like
it. It's even good stale. Carrot cake was an addition much later. But
I bet I could make one you would like. I've actually had carrot cake
w/chocolate frosting- it's good.

I'm allergic to ginger so Jamaican ginger cake is out.

We just had our biggest eating day of the year here- Thanksgiving-
yesterday. Turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed white potatoes, sweet
potatoes, home made cranberry sauce, and pumkpin custard pie.
