.... but the hours are good.

Sounds romantic but then you have to come up with a term for "her" or
"him" depending on what it is. Boyfriend/ girlfriend sounds very
teenage. Fuck buddy you can't really use in front of the outlaws.
Fiance(e') is something you should really get over. Don't dip your toe.
Take the plunge or step away from the pool.

And as far as I'm concerned, he/she is only your partner if
a) you're in business together
b) you're cowboys
c) you're gay.

b&c especially aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

Anyone else using "partner" is just too PC for my liking.
