Every time I've flown EasyJet, we took off early because everybody
boarded and sat down quickly.  Probably because you sit where you
like, like getting on a bus or train.

When that happens, they're able to queue-jump  for the take-off slot.

And amazingly, we've always arrived early as a result (rather than
being put in a holding stack).
