I'm glad to hear that you managed without me.

I spent a couple of hours testing the quality of the Guinness in the 
small bar in a country inn just outside town (i.e a mile and a half and 
3 minutes from home) ... and I was told by The Lovely Gillian that my 
idle suggestion of putting a 50" tv in the bar for the WC (World Cup, 
silly) had been such a good idea that the best viewing seat in the house 
is reserved for me, and I get the first 3 pints free at all games I 
attend. It was probably more me turning up with half the car club at the 
weekend, most of whom said they'd watch there. (Mostly because of TLG if 
truth be told.)
