I think the UK average salary is about 28k, but that doesn't help
much.
Unless you move to Derby, where that will buy you the entire street
and still give you change for a bag of chips.

Not round here. Mooring costs more than the boat.
Mind you, my region does include the most expensive place to live in
Europe.
And your boat really has to be a Sunseeker (which are made here, too),
which is way out of the league of your average Cybil Serpant.

I worked near Eastleigh last year.
