We don't know where you are so it's hard to suggest anything specific, but

1) BBC World news-at least you can listen if not interact

2) Is there a store that has foods from Home for Brits. You could hang out
there and ask about the odder foods

3) Any pubs or pretend pubs around?

4) Put a British Flag decal on your vehicle. A friend of mine did this
with a Brazilian flag decal since she had spent time there and enjoyed
it-people would come up to her to talk about Brazil. (There are Brazilian
restaraunts and dance clubs here but I don't know if this translates into
help for your British search)

5. Dress in retro Carnaby Street style

6. Dial random British phone numbers-don't forget about the time
difference though. This may not be as helpful as it sounds though-too
uncertain as to results, I'd think.

7. See groo or Opus (there is another guy too-I don't remember his name
though, and my apologies for that) for the last, or "snapper" item that
isn't real serious, but is funny and puts the list into perspective. They
will probably charge for this service (hey, humor isn't cheap) so get a
quote first.

I know what you mean about the accent though. Although I'm not as picky.
Almost any accent intrigues me-any of the US ones, then moving out into
the world. Any accent at all is worth listening to. What I need to do is
find a corner of the world where a mid-western American accent is held in
high esteem by the women there.
