There was Sir Henry at Rawlinson End, Teddy Boys Don't Knit and Sir
Henry at Ndidi's Kraal, as well as a Sir Henry movie, and a few
Rawlinson tracks on Bonzo Dog Band records. Vivian Stanshall also made
a very good non-Rawlinson record called Men Opening Umbrellas Ahead.

I just finished re-reading "Ginger Geezer -- The Life of Vivian
Stanshall."  In his later life, VS wrote and recorded a lot of
television and radio commercials that sounded really funny.

While the subject is out there, I'd also like to say that I love the
Media Barrage tapes. I remember walking around the beach at night,
years ago, wearing big plastic headphones and playing them over and
over and over again, feeling very religious and slacky.

I love the part on #10, Repent!, where a voice says, "But I don't enjoy
feeling . . . tem****ary . . . " and then a voice sounding like Jack
Webb adds, "and for many of you, common sense safety precautions could
mean the difference between the vacation of your life . . . and the
last vacation of your life," while beautiful pedal steel music plays in
the background. Also -- "The Future Sucks" speech from Bad Doktors.
Does anyone know where that was lifted from?
