Making Time now has its March 2006 update:
CD Review: Donovan- Troubador: Donovan was sometimes unfairly called the
UK's answer to Bob Dylan. This collection of his greatest hits shows that
he
was a strong performer with songs that sound excellent today.
DVD Review: The Pink Floyd & Syd Barrett Story: There were one of the
enduring groups from the 1960s although they changed dramatically after
the
departure of Syd Barrett. This 2-CD set tells the story of Pink Floyd and
Syd Barrett with contributions from all the band members (except Syd).
Artists added / Major updates: Dusty Springfield
Win a Rolling Stones CD: Making Time has a number of copies of Forty Licks
to give away. Well done to the winners of the Walker Brothers competition.
Featured artist: The Small Faces: As Ogden's Nut Gone Flake is reissued in
a
tin in mono and stereo versions along with a BBC documentary, it is time
to
re-evaluate the East End's Fab Four.
News: Freddie & the Dreamers, Long John Baldry.
In April: Joe Boyd and Fairport Convention special.
