CD review: Strangely Strange but Oddly Normal: From the
well-known to the obscure via the deeply intriguing, this retrospective of
Island Records contains surprises and some much-needed exposure for
lesser-played artists.
DVD review: The Small Faces - Under Review: They remain
very popular today despite a relatively short career in the 1960s and only
three "official" albums. This DVD documentary contains live and
promotional
film footage as well as interviews with many close to the band including
Steve Marriott biographers Paulo Hewitt and John Hellier.
Featured artist: The Moody Blues: A big hit with Go Now
but then a change of direction.
