Beware!
In case this hasn,t already been mentioned...anyone intending to
purchase the Forthcoming 'Classic Rock' 2DVD and book set be aware that
this company have a reputation for an appalling standard of product.
Classic tricks include, very poor quality footage, 30 seconds snippets
(to avoid copyright)and cannibalisation of interviews.
Their policy is hinted at in this quote from their web site:
'Editorial Control: To ensure editorial control, the film is totally
unauthorized and has not been authorized or approved by past or present
members or management of the band.'
Too true, which has resulted in artists disowning or attempting to
block their releases.
Sorry if people were looking forward to this, I have no axe to grind
with the company, but am merely passing on the feelings of subscribers
to other lists who have felt conned by this operation.
