I appreciate the compliment, and I suppose I don't actually *need* subs as
I
probably know the dialogue (and what it means) by heart at this point, but
I'm trying to get my family, who don't know the English language as well,
to
watch it too - the whole indoctrination thing is lumbering beneath, you
know...
Also, as a completist, my frustration is that while I now have 2 sets of
the
samn 5-disc set, I *still* don't have a version that will give me the
dutch
subs. Whether I need them or not.
So I guess I have one more purchase to do...
Anyway, getting back to your last question, yes, at times I do watch films
with subtitles, although most of the times I do not need them. It's for
those rare times that I miss a word, or do not "get" a certain particular
expression, that subs still help.
